Privacy policy
Mixed Skill Leagues LLC ("MSL", "we") runs MSP Leagues and the MSP app at live.mixedskillpickleball.com. This page explains what we collect, why, who sees it and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Only what we need to run leagues and answer you:
- Your account: name, email, date of birth, phone if you add it, and your sign-in details.
- Play: your teams, leagues, skill level and rating, game scores and stats.
- Saved copy on your phone: the app keeps a copy of your next Match and your teams’ rosters (names and Skill Levels) on your device, so you can see them if the app can’t connect to MSP. Signing out deletes it.
- Sponsor interest: business name, contact name, email, and the phone and message if you add them, plus the venue whose TV QR you scanned.
- Recruiting interest: the contact details you give a league’s request form, or a request to start a league near you.
- Operator interest: the details you give the Run your own MSP Leagues form. MSP Corporate sees it.
- Text choices: whether texts are on or off for your number, when you changed them, and replies like STOP or HELP.
- Basic technical data: the cookies that keep you signed in, and standard server logs.
How we use it
To run leagues, schedule games, keep scores and ratings, show live scoreboards at venues, and contact you about things you asked about. We do not sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who sees it
- Other players see your name, team, skill level and game results inside the app.
- Venue TV scoreboards show team names and live scores to people at the venue.
- Your League Operator and their staff see what they need to run your league. For sponsor interest, that’s the Operator for the venue you came from.
- MSP Corporate and nearby Operators see a request to start a league near you, only when you send it from that form: MSP Corporate and every Operator account with a venue within 20 miles of the ZIP you give, to contact you about leagues there. This never includes your text choices.
- MSP Corporate sees what it needs to run MSP Leagues.
- Service providers that host and run the app for us, only to provide that service.
Text messages (SMS)
Texts from MSP Leagues are optional. If you turn them on, Mixed Skill Leagues LLC texts the mobile number on your account about the alerts you choose in Notification settings, such as invites from your league staff and Captains. Up to 5 texts a day. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop all texts or HELP for help, or turn texts off in Notification settings. Questions: support@mixedskillpickleball.com. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. The companies that deliver our texts use your number only to send them. Turning texts on doesn't change who can see your number.
Players under 18
Recruiting interest may include contact details for players under 18.
Players 13 to 17 can turn on texts the same way as any player.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time, using the email below. Deleting an account may leave past game results with your name removed.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update this page, and tell you in the app if the change matters.
